Sean Cox


Sean is a co-founder of Intrepid Shakespeare Company. As an actor, director and teacher he has worked with numerous theatre companies and festivals including Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Texas Shakespeare Festival, PCPA Theaterfest, Old Globe, San Diego Repertory, Los Angeles Repertory, Nevada Shakespeare Festival, North Coast Repertory, Bank Theatre of Philadelphia, La Jolla Playhouse, Sierra Repertory, Cygnet Theatre, Performance Riverside, Fritz Theatre, Lamb’s Players (Associate Artists), Compass Theatre and Moxie Theatre.  Selected San Diego acting credits include Housman in The Invention of Love, Edmund Tyrone in Long Days Journey Into Night, John Merrick in The Elephant Man, Walker/Ned in Three Days of Rain, Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie and the west coast premiers of The Sugar Syndrome, The Receptionist and Dying City.  Training includes the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts, the University of the Arts and the Globe Theatre (London). Mr. Cox is the recipient of multiple awards for his work in the theatre.
